Burk Collins & Company was founded by Burk and Jean Collins in 1970. Burk grew up in Bromide, Oklahoma while Jean spent her childhood in neighboring Lehigh, Oklahoma.

Married in 1960, the Collins' moved to Fort Worth, Texas where Burk Collins was employed in the foam rubber fabricating business. In 1965, Burk and Jean entered the wholesale carpet industry. During this time, Burk attended TCU while Jean managed the floor covering business. In 1970 they started Burk Collins & Company, Ltd. This new company specialized in developing retail shopping centers, warehouses, subdivisions and office buildings.  

In their 49 year history as a couple, Burk and Jean have developed in excess of 6,500,000 square feet of commercial real estate including but not limited to retail, industrial, office space and
sub-divisions.

Burk and Jean have 2 children, 10 grandchildren and reside in North Texas.

Mr. Meckley received his BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1985. In 1987, he received his Certified Public Accountant Certificate and joined American Excelsior Company (AEC), a diversified manufacturer and wholesaler, as their Tax Manager. In 1993, he was appointed Assistant Secretary for AEC and assumed the responsibilities for all company Real Estate holdings, and the financing for capital assets. In 2002, he joined Burk Collins & Co., Ltd. (BC & C) as its Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Meckley is responsible for the financing, accounting and administration for BC & C. In his career, he has gained a wealth of experience in environmental issues, financial analysis, project management, financing, tax analysis, which includes a multitude of Deferred-Like- Kind-Exchange arrangements, Multi-State Tax compliance, and real estate management.

Bill joined the team of Burk Collins in 2006 as Vice President of Leasing. He is responsible for leasing and development management. Bill received his degree in Architecture from the University of Idaho and has been a licensed Architect in the State of Washington since 1979. He grew up in the construction industry and was a principle of AAA Construction Co., Inc. and Tupeks Construction Inc. Bill was the R.M.E. for the construction arm of Metropolitan Hawaii Inc. and still holds an ABC General Construction license in the State of Hawaii. Bill has extensive background in real estate development working as a development manager for Summit Property Development out of Spokane, Washington. In complement to his development experience, Bill has several years experience in office and retail leasing.

Pam Robleski joined Burk Collins and Co., Ltd. as their Controller in August 2007 and is responsible for financial reporting and supervision of the accounting department. Prior to joining Burk Collins, Ms. Robleski was employed with Hunt Properties in Dallas as their Controller. Her professional experience includes over 15 years in real estate accounting, administration and CPA consulting.

Pam holds a BS from the University of North Texas and received her CPA license in September of 1992.

Dwayne Collins

Dwayne joined forces with Burk and Jean in 1974 in the carpet distributor business. After he received his real estate license, he again teamed up with his brother and sister in law in 2002, in the commercial real estate business. Dwayne manages and is a partner in all current BC & C Oklahoma projects and serves as President of Mid America Business Park in Oklahoma City. Throughout the next couple of years, Dwayne will assist in developing and managing 8 other Oklahoma locations totaling 2 million square feet of space.
Dwayne and his wife, Dorothy have 3 children and 5 grandchildren and reside in Oklahoma.

A 28 year veteran of the commercial construction business, Danny joined Burk Collins & Co., Ltd. in October of 2004. Prior to his employment with Burk Collins & Co., Ltd., Danny began as a contractor and worked his way up the ladder eventually owning his own general construction firm for 10 years. His extensive experience includes ground up construction as well as interior finish-out
experience. Danny has recently partnered with Burk Collins and Company to start TOKA General Contractors.

Danny has been married to Jeanette for 26 years, has 4 children and 5 grandchildren
